The Crook and Flail – Let Heaven and Nature Sing!

 by Patricia Awyan Lehman

“Let there be Peace on Earth

And let it begin with me.”  ~    Vince Gill

The Crook and Flail are said to be associated with royalty and the rulers’ dominion over Khemit (Egypt), the Black Earth. However, this is only one level of understanding the depth of their symbolic significance. The crook and flail were not only carried by the pharaohs, but also by the Neters, Min and Osiris, who represent the metaphor of the ‘seeding’ of consciousness into manifested form and a symbolic account of the journey of this seed through stages and ages of its own perception of embodiment as it experiences reality. When gods become men, Osiris embarks on this journey of descent into a perceived containment in a physical body that is reflected as the Fool in the Tarot deck.  He comes equipped with a knowing and freedom granted only to the eternal gods, and quickly falls through the electro-magnetic field of forgetfulness, only to become veiled by the waveform that is acknowledged as cosmic consciousness, the Torus field that is symbolized by the wings of Isis and her sister, Nebhet. His now limited senses of what he is experiencing hold him hostage, now wrapped in his very own wings (mummification within an earth based consciousness).  He no longer knows that he is free and powerful and is now subject to the whims of his own fallible core beliefs.

The ancient Egyptians and indigenous cultures worldwide illustrate the completion of this fall from grace into physical form occurring in the Age of Taurus, as the moment when we become ‘Bulls of our Mother’, the Cosmic Cow or Milky Way.

Osiris is the Land, the Black Earth, as well as the multi-faceted face of humanity. His journey is our journey and its telling provides clues to how we can navigate a path back to freedom and Gnosis.

He holds the crook and the flail as tools to remind us that we must be aware that our very thoughts and emotions can easily become boundaries and ties that bind us from becoming masters of the mysteries of our newfound perception of reality.   Can we remember that we were once powerful and free…. or will we turn our power over to forces of nature that lie outside our perception of self?

The moment we give our power away, we are held hostage in the illusion of form and the perils of a belief in an earthly death. There can be no ‘Peace on Earth’ when man believes he is fallible and in danger. Our emotions can now be controlled through agendas that create fear.

When we forget that we are eternal beings of light, we allow our perception of linearity to be used as a weapon that motivates our behavior. The crook (heka) and flail (nekhakha) are symbolic tools that were later associated with authority and the king’s ability to provide for his people. The shepherd’s crook stood for kingship or dominion and the flail for the fertility of the land– and especially its harvest. On another level, this speaks to the harvesting of our own labors.

Who is your Ruler, your King, your Priest, your Guru?Crooks are used by a Shepherd to protect his sheep from danger, to scare a prowling wolf and/or to tug a wayward sheep back into line. The Crook is the shepherd’s or controller’s staff for keeping those he is responsible for within a contained environment. The Flail is a tool for harvesting and/or punishment  if one does not stay within the boundaries of a system of laws, judgment and discipline. It is an agricultural tool used for threshing– the process of separating grains from their husks. It is usually made from two or more large sticks attached by a short chain; one stick is held and swung, causing the other to strike a pile of grain, loosening the husks. As with most agricultural tools, flails were often used as weapons.

Both tools can also be viewed as symbols for what happens to spirit when it descends into a physical container or body to begin a life on earth. We begin this Hero’s Journey (the journey of Osiris through the gates of Amenta), as a seed of consciousness traversing cycles associated metaphorically with the seasons of agricultural processes.  We are born as the seed placed in the darkness of the earth during a night or lower cycle of consciousness.  We strive to meet the challenges of growing and finding our way to the light of day where we can be nurtured by the rays of the sun, and bear fruit–a harvest from our labors.

Many creation stories, including the Egyptian and Christian versions, speak of a transference of dominion (over nature and lower life forms) from a god or gods to men, thus beginning the concept of kingship and rulers. The Ruler (also a device for measuring), defines our boundaries for time, space and action.

Spirit, like water, is confined to the space perceived by the form in which it is placed.

How far can I go?

Other questions we might ask ourselves are: Who is providing and defining our boundaries for our perception of our experience and who is cracking the whip to motivate us to be productive? Are they a good shepherd or a bad shepherd? Are you a good or bad shepherd?

Are we disciples needing discipline as sheep — by design?

The crook and the flail are the control mechanisms used to keep us ‘in line’ in order to harvest our energetic potentials and resources. They are tools designed to define our boundaries for time and space when we forget our own personal power and look outside ourselves for definition.  When we turn our power over to a force or ruler– our personal accountability becomes subject to their level of integrity.

The multi-level meaning of this symbolic expression can be associated with kingdoms, religions and corporations…etc., including core beliefs or thought forms.

The ancient Egyptians understood this concept of giving away our personal power and the fear associated with the belief in a physical death and confinement (loss of personal freedom).

My father in law, and famed Khemitologist, Abd’el Hakim Awyan, spoke of this descent beginning with the Priests of Amun, whom he said created the first harvestless jobs.  They didn’t need to be productive if they could control the resources of others through the manipulation of their KA, their physical vital force.

The  priests of Amun, or the Hanut, as Hakim called them, appear in the New Kingdom, at the beginning of the Eighteenth Dynasty. Christianity later uses this shepherd symbolism to reflect a promise to protect…or essentially contain its own flocks of sheep-ple.

Oh Come all Ye Faithful!

“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.”  ~  Psalm 23:4

We are the shadow within the container of form during this night cycle. It is a time when we must have faith that the sun will rise again, and we can shine our lights freely when we fly out of the darkness and into the sunlight to begin a day cycle again. But, if we lose our faith, we become falsely comforted by our shepherds, laws and justice systems that provide ‘definition’ and boundaries.

We have been led to believe that laws, justice and fear of punishment will keep the peace…. however, in truth, the fear instilled within this paradigm creates the opposite expression of chaos, especially when we are not led by a ‘good shepherd’.

He Rules the World with Peace and Grace

Isis gives birth to Horus as the ascended form of his father, Osiris. He is the Sun or Son who rises on the Horizon of a new Day Cycle. His conception occurs when she shape-shifts into a Kite bird and finds the broken pieces of Osiris’s separated aspects of self that have been scattered throughout the land. She pieces them back together…with the omission of his phallus, which has been eaten by the Piscean fish.  She magically fashions him a new one, copulates with him and becomes pregnant with Horus/Heru, our Hero, who is ultimately born from a virgin womb.

As his reflection in Christianity’s version of this legendary epic, Jesus is born from the womb of the ‘virgin’ Mary, as the Sun, and or Son of God in the Age of Pisces.

We are told that Jesus comes to tell us that he IS the good shepherd—and to warn us about the bad shepherds. Jesus declares himself the true and good shepherd of men.

“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd will give his life for the sake of his sheep. But the hired man, who is not the shepherd, and does not own the sheep, will see the wolf coming, desert the sheep and run away. And the wolf will attack the flock and send them flying. The hired man runs away because he is only a hired man and has no interest in the sheep. I am the good shepherd, and I know those that are mine and my sheep know me, just as the Father knows me and I know the Father. And I am giving my life for the sake of the sheep.” ~ John 10  6-15 Where is our Good Shepherd today?

Were the ancients reminding us that we are ultimately responsible for our own harvest and whether we give our power away or not. We are the ultimate creators of our own destiny and are being challenged to wake up forgotten sleeping senses to remember who we really are.Heka is an Egyptian Neter who can harness the currents of his innate duality and create portals to unlimited resources.  He takes back his crook and flail and becomes the master of his own kingdom.

Our outer world is an illusion of a misguided understanding, resultant of our own limited ability to sense our reality. We rely on limited senses that are incredibly fallible and rulers that often have a vested interest in distorting the truth. We often choose to lie to ourselves to feed our own obsessions and addictions, and in so doing lose touch with our own inner knowing.

We are challenged to remember that we are eternal beings of light and always have the choice to create peace and harmony on this earth….our dominion.

As the old Native American legend asks us: “Will we feed the white wolf or the black wolf?” It is our own choices that determine which doors, gateways, or portals we will open….in our outer and inner experience of this reality.

The first step is to know that duality can only be resolved if we understand that guidance and boundary setting must come from within (to be mirrored without). When we know that our perceived positive and negative sides are mirror images of the same thing…and we can transmute the innate friction and embrace them both, we can move closer to our source….at our center, our heart.

Deeper into the darkness of the physical… closer to our center, our source, our heart—is where the crook and flail are crossed as the portal to heaven.  We can reclaim these tools of control and find the ultimate balance that creates harmony within and in so doing, a beautiful reflection of harmony without…..true Peace on Earth.

Oh Come all ye Faithful, Joyful and Triumphant!

This is the FREEDOM we are all seeking.  It’s the freedom to express ourselves without the Id, Ego or even the super-ego constraining us (keeping us in those densely physical containers or prisons of thought forms) with their own agendas.“My sheep recognize my voice and I know who they are. They follow me and I give them eternal life. They will never die and no one can snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all. And no one can tear anything out of the Father’s hand. I and the Father are One.”  ~ John 10:27-29

We are all one with this creation.  It is our mirror. We choose what is reflected in it.

Separation IS the Illusion…

We must be mindful of our inner dominion over ourselves and our responsibility to love, nurture and protect all that is sentient and flowing in our natural world.

Freedom comes with the realization that we are all integral parts of a whole that co-exist within an ocean of water (waveform creating one ‘body’) with eternally flowing patterns of form and formless existence that breathes into and out of a unified oneness at its center. This ‘knowing’ creates the peace and harmony we long for as we find appreciation and compassion for all vibrating life forms. Stability and security is attained when we achieve balance.

Be the King and Good Shepherd of your own Castle and Let Heaven and Nature Sing!

Everybody sing
Joy to the world
The Lord is come
(Let Earth receive her King)
Let every heart
Prepare him room
Let heaven and nature sing
Let heaven and nature sing

Let Heaven, let Heaven, let Heaven and Nature Sing!

Seshat measures Time and Space by Patricia Awyan

by Patricia Awyan Lehman

Seshat from the temple dedicated to Sobek and Horus at Kom Ombo.

The Netert Seshat symbolizes sacred geometry, mathematics and the understanding of the energetic architecture and patterning of the structural form that flows in nature.

She wears the leopard skin that was only worn by priests that reached a significant level of achievement, wisdom, knowledge and power. These were the astrologers and master ‘magicians’ who were able to feel the currents and harness them.

Some would like to claim that she wears the leaf of the marijuana plant as her crown…but, I disagree.  It illustrates the ‘flow-ering of form’ within the container of the bow. Sometimes the polarity of the bow itself is imaged with two serpents, their heads meeting at the center peak above her head. The seven petals or rays of light are the seven sacred tones, colors, angles of light–that as aspects of the one source of the breath of life, combine to create our perception of physical form. This bow shoots the metaphoric ‘arrows’ of liquid light that give birth to the perception of a physical reality from above….from the stars of the primordial waters. These vibrating waves form angles and shapes in fractal patterns providing our holographic view of a material world. Everything ‘alive’ flows in these same natural patterns–above and below.

It is why she symbolically officiates at the ‘stretching of the cord’ ceremony known as ‘pedjshes’ to lay the foundation of any new structure, mapping out the solar and/or stellar alignments and powerful sacred geometric designs at specific places on the land that would enable the structure to harness the powerful ‘currents’ above and below. Every stone, angle, shape, and form is refined and perfectly placed to assist in creating an atmosphere of harmonic resonance within the new living, vibrating structure.

In the above image of her, she is holding the tools for the ‘stretching of the cord’ ceremony. She and another figure facing her (probably the king) would have been holding the implements for the stretching of the cord ceremony. The axis of the temple was laid out by stretching a rope between two stakes or ‘poles’. Below is an image of the same from the temple of Horus at Edfu.

All of the symbolism in Egypt has at least 7 levels of interpretation depending on your levels of perceptive awareness. The symbolic meaning of the ‘stretching of the cord’ is profound. A stretched cord, vibrated, will produce a certain frequency and a specific wavelength—as sound. If you change the length of the cord, the tone or frequency and the wavelength will change.

From John Anthony West when speaking about the work of Pythagorus (who was a student of the priests in ancient Khemit):

“Consider a string of a given length as unity. Set it vibrating; it produces a sound. Stop the string at its midpoint and set it vibrating. It produces a sound one octave higher. Division in two results in an analogue of the original unity. [ . . .]  Between the original note and its octave there are seven intervals, seven unequal stages which, despite their inequality, the ear interprets as ‘harmonious.’

Seshat offers us the scale—and tools for the measurement for our perception of time and space itself. This is profound!

Dr. Ibrahim Karim, who developed the field of BioGeometry tells us that:

“We then have here seven abstract extrasensory qualities that manifest themselves in any sense scale and enable us to translate any colour into musical notes, smell fragrance, touch, taste or shape quality.”

These are the qualitative scales for our sensation of everything in our reality!
Knowledge of them offers us the tools for the creation of ‘portals’ between ‘heaven’ and ‘earth’ that can be transcended. And this was a function of the temple structures.

Seshat as the Scribe and a close up of her palette of ink wells.

In the second picture above you see her inkwell, known as the scribe’s inkwell. Notice that the fine detail on these inkwells shows Shen symbols that represent the infinite nature of her function. She is a ‘time keeper’, astronomer and astrologer in a physical reality that consists of vibrating waveform. We measure time from our observance of the patterns of the cycling sun, moon and stars.

Time and space can only be measured when we are pulsing with electro-magnetic life-force….which is the heartbeat of all that breaths in a physical universe. Tic Tock.

Abd’el Hakim Awyan often taught we were all called ‘Sesh’ in very ancient Khemit.  All were considered equal and living in peace and harmony, before the descent of conscious awareness.  In my opinion, we all once felt the currents, and were able to harness them to harvest life enhancing food and to create harmonic resonance within and without our structures with the utilization of implosive technologies that were in in sync with the natural currents, the forces of nature– the Neteru in our universal environment.  We were all once in alignment with the expression of Seshat.

Lead into Gold….an Alchemical Portal by Patricia Awyan

Lion-Crop-Circle

There is a timely message within the symbolism of the Winged Lion…regardless of who created the Figsbury Ring Crop Circle at Firsdown, Wiltshire, first reported on July 22, 2016.

winged lion 1

Some see a bat…..however, I see a Winged Lion, which is a symbol of Mark, the Evangelist and represents the Age of Leo….or the alchemical Gold in the metaphor that illustrates the cycling of consciousness through the ages.

Crop-Circle

The Four Evangelists, Luke, Mark, John, and Matthew, also known as the tetramorph or the Four Faces of God, metaphorically represent the constellations of Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius that occupy and define the sectors of the sky that the sun would cross on the vernal equinox, summer solstice, autumnal equinox, and winter solstice- from a Northern Hemisphere perspective.

In our fractal Hologram or perception of this reality, they represent the complete cycle of the year as well as the Great Year in the Precession of Ages, the four quarters of the earth,  the four elements and the four seasons that form the ‘portals’ in our eternal cycling, circling or spiraling of time through space.

evangelists

This paradigm is illustrated in the biblical story of Ezekiel’s Wheels as well as in symbolic imagery throughout the ancient world and represents the expression of the breath of life from the heart, source or point of singularity, into the four quarters of the earth that provide dimension and the awareness of time and space in a physical, three dimensional reality.

These icons expressed themselves in the symbolism of ancient cultures worldwide, long before the development of Christianity.

At Kom Ombo, in Egypt, where the Ptolemaic temples dedicated to both Sobek and Horus are located, you can find the image below. Only the symbolism reflecting Aquarius is missing due to damage. The  Winged Ma’at that sits atop a shrine in the center, represents perfect balance which is achieved through the resonance of polarity, as signified by this  shrine flanked by ‘ears’ ( where we get the popular phrase: ‘the walls have ears’). The two eyes of Horus, symbolizing the Sun and Moon, shown at the very top between the ‘all seeing eye of RA’ and the Solar Lion, are united when we reach this state of Gnosis…or knowing.

four faces of god

The Bull (Luke), represents Earth and the Age of Taurus, when we Fall into Matter, or are held hostage in physical form; the Water Bearer (Matthew) of Aquarius is Air and symbolizes when we become masters of the mysteries of water…or the flow of magnetic waveform; the Eagle (John) of the Age of Scorpio, is Water and signifies when we earn our wings at the ‘New Dawn’ (also symbolized by the winged scarab), when the sun/son rises on the HORizon as the metaphorical HORus rising; and the Lion (Mark) of the Age of Leo ruled by the Fiery Sun, marks our GOLDen Age when consciousness reaches its peak and when we gain the opportunity to become Etheric Shape-shifters (the fifth element),  no longer held hostage by physical containers.

It is no mistake that most of the world’s religions date the beginning of civilization to around 6,000 years ago, when we entered the Age of Taurus and dipped into the Night Cycle of consciousness.

We are metaphorically planted in the dark earth, and as the scarab beetle places its eggs in the dung ball during this stage, we begin as ‘seeds of consciousness’ and embark on the Hero’s Journey defined by the myths of Osiris, and illustrated in the Tarot, which had its roots in ancient Egypt.

Heros-Journey

From “The Spiral Progress of the Mundane Spirit” from  Kircher’s Œdipus Ægyptiacus:

“The priests of Egypt used the scarab beetle, or Kheper as a symbol of regeneration as its patterns mirrored the secret process whereby base metals could be transmuted into gold. They saw in the egg of the scarab the seed of the metals, and the figure below shows the path of this seed through the various planetary bodies until it reaches the center, where it is perfected and returns to its source.”

Picture19

After the scarab has wound its way around the spiral to the center of the lower part of the figure, it returns to the upper world and gains it wings at the dawn of a new Day Cycle…along the path bearing the words: “Return of the Spirit to the Center of Unity. “

Winged-Scarab

But, do we need to wait for this linear time representation to play itself out for this alchemy to take place, for the ascended Osiris to rise as his Son/Sun, Horus, on the Horizon in the Age of Scorpio (estimated to be between 8600 to 10,800 CE)– to earn our wings?

Of course not. Individually, we have an opportunity to break the patterns of our own cycles within every breath.

Taurus & Scorpio guard the east/west Silver Gates of Men that lie on the Horizon of Polarity and Aquarius & Leo can unlock the north/south Golden Gates of God or portals that open to the heart, or heaven.

Gates

We are currently entering a pivotal moment in our perceived reality when a portal to the Age of Leo is opening and we may only need to flip our magnetic perspective and look to the south to find our treasure.   South is Up according to the ancient Egyptians.   We find the gold, Neb, or Nub, meaning ‘the precious’, or gold itself, in Nubia in Upper Egypt.  This is also where we find the Temple of Isis, the female Neter known to have MAGic powers (the ability to sense and harness MAGnetic current) and who wears the throne as her crown…or ‘seat of power’.

south is up

However, if our focus was flipped to a Southern Hemisphere perspective (South Pole), we would be experiencing the onset of the Age of Leo.

The Northern Hemisphere magnetic field spins counter clockwise and is a masculine perspective typified by the warrior archetype, defined by its agendas to divide and conquer….and suppress the wisdom of the divine feminine. We become obsessed with physical pleasures and lose touch with our hearts, our source within.

vortex-breath

Southern Hemisphere magnetic fields spin clockwise and represent the feminine wisdom of the divine mother.  The strongest force on earth is the protective love of the mother….expressed within our earth as the magnetic song or ley lines that move from east to west….the FE-lines, symbolized by Lions, Pumas, Jaguars, Leopards and other cats in ancient symbolism worldwide.

When we are in balance…we are in a-LION-ment with these powerful lines/lions of fertility.  This requires a reverence for the qualities of this divine feminine energy that exists within every one of us…exemplified as the powerful and protective, nurturing and healing love of the mother.

We literally have the opportunity to go for the gold if we embody these qualities, and begin to resolve our polarity within.

The Egyptian Neter, Sekhmet, has the head of a lion and the body of a human and represents the fierce rays of the sun that spark destruction on earth…making way for renewal and great healing. (Have you ever witnessed a mother cat of any species fiercely defend her offspring?) Her rage destroys the old cycle of patriarchal patterns that create chaos and disharmony…making way for the new.

“I believe it will be the magnetic influence produced by the Sun which will usher in what is described by our ancient ancestors as “the transition” bringing us to a new state-of-being”.  ~ Mitch Battros of Earthchanges Media

Sekhem is power or life force energy and Sekhmet is the vital magnetic spark that provides the  necessary energy to perform what we have been told are  mystical, magical and powerful feats,  including the spontaneous healing of the physical body!  Notice the Lotus (the spark that ignites the Sine wave, or cosmic serpent of magnetic flow into life) within the Glyph shown in the third image from the left below?

Sekhmet

Sekhmet carries this Sekhem life force scepter and her image represents this moment in time….in my opinion. The human body is that of the water bearer, Aquarius….the master of the mysteries of the flow of water….magnetic waveform….representing a time when humanity begins to sense and understand the powerful potentials of electro-magnetic energy flows…the life force of the matrix of matter that contains and shields us as the Veil or Wings of Isis.

 goldisis

We have hit the Nadir of the Circle…or Cycle as we enter the Age of Aquarius, ruled by Saturn, the planet that also rules the metal, Lead— at the feet of Sekhmet. We now have the opportunity to stand in her ‘shoes’…so to speak, and raise our heads up, uniting our hearts (unseen world) and minds (seen world)…to become Golden Lions.

Does this come with a Global CATastrophe?        Will our Magnetic Poles flip?

Only time will tell…..

From Manley P. Hall:    The Lion’s Paw in the Pyramid Mysteries

Picture8

“The Visible connection between the constellation Leo and the return of the sun to his place of power and glory… At the summit of the Royal Arch of heaven… Was the principle reason why that constellation was held in such high esteem and reverence by the ancients… The astrologers distinguished Leo as the ‘sole house of the sun’… And taught that the world was created when the sun was in that sign… When the Aquarian Age is thoroughly established (which we are in now)… The sun will be in Leo…. Then indeed will the secret religions of the world include once more the raising to initiation by the Grip of the Lions Paw.”

Maybe it’s time to Rise and find out…..

Reflections of Khemit (Egypt) in India: Common Source or Migration of Knowledge & Wisdom? by Patricia Awyan

In December of 2015,  I traveled with Suzan Moore, the Techno-Spiritual Team’s Geologist,  to India at the invitation of Nayantara Chakravarthi, a friend of the Khemit School. I was overwhelmed by the wealth of wisdom and knowledge still held intact throughout India within the dogma of the Vedic texts, as well as the structures, and rituals still being performed by ‘devotees’ at temple sites.

What struck me most are the similarities I discovered there with the results of my own research of the ancient Egyptian symbolism and mythologies, as well as the fieldwork and research done  by the entire Khemit Team here in Egypt (based on a foundation of knowledge left to us by Abd’el Hakim Awyan).  As my new friends and fellow researchers in India and I shared our viewpoints, recognizing the vast similarities, we began to connect many dots within our own respective studies.

The science of the Vedas has been written about prolifically, and I must admit I returned home with more than a few new books about this and more!  Just as I discovered in Egypt, they point to the truth of the nature of our reality, and give us details about Physics, Biology, Astronomy and more.  They both portray the unique story of our alchemical existence in this seen world of illusion, the Hindu Maya, and the unseen world that holds all wisdom and truth, as well as how we migrate through both, through cycles, and cycles within cycles of consciousness, death, birth and rebirth… eternally.  It is the cosmic dance of Shiva, as well as the symbolic journey of Kheper, the Egyptian scarab that pushes the sun, sol, or self across the milky way of this hologram.

Dance-of-Shiva-Kheper

Although my understanding of the significance of the symbolism of the traditions of Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism is superficial in this moment, I could not help but see many parallels with that of my indigenous understanding of very ancient Khemit.

Basic similarities include:

A belief that humanity migrates through eternal cycles of consciousness and vibration
There is no ‘Judgement Day’ or Eternal Hell or Heaven
Symbolism emerges to express truth as a higher cycle descends into lower cycles
Mirrored symbols in both ancient cultures are used to express these truths
Created structures are engineered with symbolic codes and wisdom within the architecture itself
Structures reflect the universe and self with solar and stellar alignments that recognize cyclic events
Structures utilize unique combinations of minerals, running water and use of sound and resonance
As above, so below; the outer macrocosmic universe reflects the inner microcosmic self
A belief in a fractal and holographic existence where the all is contained within each of its parts
All is breathing or vibrating in day and night patterns
The practice of Yoga
Understanding of our ChakRAS as inner suns, or energy centers
Symbolism and structure reflect the Alchemy of our reality
The reality we are currently enjoying is an illusion likened to being in a dream state
We have the opportunity to change our reality with every breath, minute, day, year, Great Year, etc.
Understand the patterns (Sacred Geometry and Flow) in order to transform or alter them
We will cycle into moments of complete ‘Gnosis’ or knowing before we breathe out a new physical reality

The story of our current reality begins with the birth of matter, or the physical reality, as symbolized in both cultures, by its birth from a Lotus flower. This reality is characterized by day and night cycles, a wave pattern or cosmic serpent that reflects the basic formula for how all living things express themselves or vibrate.

BIRTH-ofmatter

This sine wave is patterned as the first breath from the sea of primordial waters, or the unmanifested potential of consciousness itself.  In Egypt, this was reflected in the mythology of the Neter, Atum, the Atom who creates the dual Neters, or twins, Shu and Tefnut from his saliva or, alternatively, his SEAmen.

ananta_vishnu

Both cultures see the Lotus as a symbol of the birth of the sun.

Lotus-sun-6This birth of the Sun or Son from a Lotus Flower can be reflected in many different ways.

lOTUS-SUNS-8

“The lotus flower, sacred to Buddha and to Osiris, has five petals which symbolizes the four limbs and the head; the five senses; the five digits; and like the pyramid, the four parts of the compass and the zenith.

 Walafrid Strabo (c. 809–849)

The four sons of Horus, who are often displayed emerging from a Lotus flower, represent the four directions, seasons and elements of our material world. Form FLOWers from the four elements represented by the Lotus, which is rooted in Earth, sprouts upward through Water and into the Air, before opening its petals to give birth to Fire as the Sun.

4-directions

We also see this reflection of the four directions, seasons and elements with the symbolism of the Four Pillars.

4-PILLARSAll in this reality is dual in nature as communicated in Hinduism as the Ardhanarishvara, in Buddhism as Yin/Yang and throughout symbolism and mythology in Egypt. Spirit and Matter (Purusha  &  Prakriti) are the two basic aspects of Creation.

THE-ARDHANARISHVARA-PTAH

Ptah, an Egyptian creator Neter, took the form of a bull at times and his consort, Sekhmet, a great mother lioness, is a ‘destroyer’, associated with the fierce rays of the sun.  Ptah represented the projection of matter from spirit, and Sekhmet (as purification by fire) scorches the physical material world when it falls out of Ma’at, or balance.

Ptah-Sekhmetbull-lionMatter and Spirit, Positive and Negative, the Seen and the Unseen worlds, are ultimately one and the same. Matter is materialized Spirit and Spirit is spiritualized Matter. What is considered as empty space is just a manifestation of matter that is not awakened to the physical.

rin

There is only the One, which gives birth to Two, and then Three. This is expressed as the Hindu Triurti or Trinity of Brahma the creator, Vishna the sustainer, and Shiva the destroyer. In Egypt we see many triads that mirror this concept.

Trinity

Both the Egyptian Sekhem and the Hindu Shakti are labels for power and self-empowerment and represent the creative power and flow of life force energy that connects body, mind, and soul.

Kali-Sekhmet

The Hindu Goddess, Shakti (also known as Durga or Devi) is the divine energy which destroys evil forces and restores balance. As Kali, Shakti will appear at the end of the Kali Yuga to remove the debris of a spiritually dead humanity in order to usher in a new cycle of light and peace. The Egyptian Neter, Sekhmet embodies this aspect of the divine mother principle as the fierce rays or flares of the sun that ultimately restore balance through the resultant volcanoes, earthquakes and shifts in the Schumann Resonance.

durga-hindu-goddess

These principles also apply to the female Neters of ancient Egypt.  Tefnut is associated with the magnetic, galactic storms and the spark of life.  Hathor is the Alpha and Omega, the womb that holds and gives birth to the Hor, the seed of life.  Isis restores the vitality to her consort, Osiris. These Neters are also known as great and divine mothers who nurture and heal.

For this is what Shakti and Sekhem represent: the most powerful force on our planet, which is the fierce protective love of the mother as displayed by the lioness.

lion 9

The ‘nurturing mother of the son or sun’ dynamic is expressed similarly in iconic symbolism throughout many cultures worldwide.

mother-sun

I also found many similarities between Osiris and Vishnu. Both, as aspects of self, migrate through cycles of consciousness, and are often shown in a reclining position, as if they are asleep, in a dream state, waiting to be awakened.

1-Osiris-Visnu

Lord Vishnu is said to rest in the coils of Ananta, the great serpent of Infinity, while he waits for the universe to recreate itself.

vishnu infinity

The Egyptian hawk Neter, Horus, becomes the ‘ascended’ Osiris, as his Son or aspect of the Sun and self. Horus represents rising consciousness as the newly enlightened or awakened Osiris.  In Hindu mythology, it is the hawk headed Garuda who is Vishnu’s vehicle to travel to the Sun or enlightenment.

Garuda-and-Horus

In Egyptian mythology the world rests on the divine serpent, Nehebu-Kau. The red crown of Upper Egypt and the white crown of Lower Egypt in the image below refer to the polarity of consciousness that exists in the lower, night cycle. Cycles spiral in both directions.  Horus tames this serpent in order to fly into the light.mehen

Garuda is known to be the natural enemy to serpents, the sine wave or cosmic serpent of the lower night cycle.  Horus as Harpokrates, ‘the infant Horus’, is often displayed standing on crocodiles, and holding both serpents and scorpions (all symbols of a lower earth bound reality), in his hands, having tamed or transmuted his shadow self within.

The legends and depictions of the “stretching of the cord” ceremony in ancient Khemit represent how temples were patterned after the universe.  Stretching the cord referred to the architectural planning process that emulated these universal patterns in a microcosmic structure. The Neter, Seshat holds the cord which is used to outline the sacred geometric blueprint of the temple. All natural forces must be harmonized within the energetic architecture of the structure so it can perform its interactive function.

These living structures contain sacred geometry, precise mathematical codes, the use of a combination of natural elements that include the use of sound and running water within their energetic architecture, along with symbolism and iconography that interact with one’s body, mind and spirit as you navigate through them.

They also contain both solar and stellar alignments that cite astronomical events which have an effect on our consciousness and levels of awareness.  Sound chambers and niches adorn many of these ancient structures and caves in both India and Egypt, where you can create amazing resonant tones that have the ability to spontaneously heal the body and enhance levels of awareness. We visited two structures in India in which columns themselves could be played like an instrument, where the tapping of them created unique musical tones.

The similarity between Lingam – Yoni’s, held sacred in India, with Hoteps found throughout Egypt was apparent.  I hope to write more about these and their significance in the future.

Hotep-Yoni

I can’t even begin to write about the comparison of the science of the Yuga Cycles to that of ancient Khemit at this time, as this topic requires more space and time.  I can say that I know, beyond any shadow of doubt, that the ancient understanding of our eternal cycles of existence and consciousness was also mirrored.

And now I come back to my original question:

Does the obvious similarity between these two cultures result from a common source of information or from migration of knowledge and wisdom from one location to the other?

Many would like to claim that India learned its truths from ancient Egypt—and many would claim the opposite.  Does it even matter?  In both cultures there is much speculation as to the authenticity of the dating of structures, iconography and dogma.

It is possible that everything stemmed from an ancient civilization that spanned a much larger geographical area, which encompassed both countries as we know them today.  However, we need to remember that this ancient wisdom and knowledge is evidenced in countries worldwide.

Many believe, including myself, that this wisdom is inherent in the dynamic flow of the universe and was realized through observation of natural patterns in the vibration and growth of all living things.

If consciousness does cycle through day (high) and night (low) cycles, then we must believe that human beings across the globe once enjoyed moments of higher states of awareness and understanding of the nature of our reality.  As such, wouldn’t they ALL have had the opportunity to fully comprehend who we are and where we came from?  And in so knowing, would they not have understood that the world would descend into another night cycle of declining consciousness and as such, want to leave behind clues to enable their descendants to unravel…the secrets of the universe?

I want to thank Liesbeth Pankaja Bennink, and Nayantara Chakravarthi for all that they contributed to my experience throughout my journey in India, as well as my understanding of the alchemical science within the ancient Vedic texts, symbolism, structure, dance and rituals left behind by this incredible culture. Liesbeth will be writing articles that will be posted here in the future.

I also want to thank Suzan Moore, for her wonderful input, and Alex Mott, who filmed much of our journey for his own upcoming documentary, both of whom promise to offer articles that will be shared on this blog.

Although I have only shown a sprinkling of the many reflections I discovered on my travels and within my research, I hope that the incredible resemblance between these two ancient cultures has been conveyed.  I can only guess at the depth to which these similarities go and the significance of the knowledge and wisdom that is offered to those who choose to delve more deeply.  My adventure into the study and experiencing of ancient India has just begun—but, I am excited at the infinite possibilities of what I might encounter!

Why is Osiris Green? by Patricia Awyan

Green-man

Osiris, Ausser–or Wizzer (Wsjr), is the original Green Man–he is the land and the earth in his representation of mankind migrating through cycles of consciousness. He is the seed, self, sun and universe, enabling consciousness to express itself as a manifestation in the physical, earthly realm.  As such, he is associated with all phases of agricultural processes and to the symbolism of the tree of life. He is expressed as green in many depictions to represent these associations and their relationship to the fertility of the earth, his dual feminine aspect.   It is through the portal of our solar plexus, the Lion’s Gate, and our true heart center, that we traverse the dimensions from spirit to matter, from unity consciousness to individuated consciousness and back again.  This is the ‘Hero’s Journey’ that is likened to the path of the Sun across the sky.

path-of-sun

The Tarot, which originated in Egypt, tells the story of Osiris. The Fool is Osiris (manifestation of the physical) who emerges from and sails the primordial waters of Nut, the sky, shown here in the first image in the picture below.  Osiris is looking back here as he leaves the higher vibrational ages of Cancer and Gemini, before his descent into matter (the material, physical reality) in the age of Taurus and he begins his journey as the seed that is planted in the earth cloaked in the darkness of a new night cycle.

Osiris is leaving a state of unity consciousness and beginning his descent into the earth bound reality as he sails across the ecliptic or path of the sun, through the process of separation and into the polarity consciousness of Gemini toward the Age of Taurus, where spirit is made manifest in a densely physical dimension.

OSirius-the-fool

The second image is from the Dendera Zodiac on the second floor, which depicts this same adventure in a three-dimensional, spiraling image. You can see Osiris again in the lower right hand corner beginning his journey as the seed in the Dark Age that will be fertilized and reborn as his ascended  aspect, Horus, who will continue this journey until he earns his wings and flies back into the higher dimensional day cycle.

“He is the spirit in search of experience…it’s subsidiary name was at one time the alchemist as depicting folly at the most insensate (unconscious) stage”.    ~ Arthur Edward Waite, Co-Author, Rider-Waite Tarot Deck

These stages can be related to the planting of a seed in the dark earth where it germinates and takes root, is nurtured by the minerals and water of the earth before breaking through the surface where the new seedling as it seeks the light of day before spreading its branches (wings) and flying into the light of the sun.

germination
Those of us who grew up seeing and/or reading copies of the Farmer’s Almanac know that the success of planting and harvesting activities can be greatly affected by the stages of the moon, as well as stellar and solar events. Osiris is related to agriculture and the 14 stages of the moon waxing and 14 stages of waning for this reason.

OsirisGreen

In a popular myth about Osiris, the Neter, Set, symbolizing sunset, is jealous of his favoured brother and sets out to kill him. He eventually cuts his brother’s body into 42 pieces (or 14 in a later telling) and scatters the pieces throughout Khemit.

This occurs when the sun sets on the day cycle and we fall into the hidden cycle of Amun/Amen. The 42 pieces represent the Nomes or divisions of the land of Egypt and the original 42 tribes.  It describes what occurs as consciousness falls and we can no longer communicate without the use of written and oral languages. Our hearts and minds no longer vibrate in unison and we can be manipulated through control agendas.

Osirus is now depicted as a mummy, but, in truth he is only wrapped in his own wings and earthbound. Humanity can now be held hostage by their fear and anger through separation principles; from a God who they are now told exists outside themselves and from each other and the natural environment that surrounds us. We have forgotten the unified nature of all of lifeforms.

mummy-osiris-wings

His journey takes him through the process of death, birth and rebirth, as he faces the challenges of the Duat (duality), the underworld of the night cycle.  This is the true alchemical journey we take as we precess through the constellations representing ages or stages of consciousness.  This Sacred Spiral (Spirit) of Birth and Rebirth that gives definition to time and space, shown in the picture below, is also ‘the Land of Osiris’, and portrays the alchemy of mankind migrating through eternal cycles. This sine wave spirals in both directions, creating a vortex of breath wherein consciousness experiences itself.  It is in the Lion’s Gate, the heart, ruled by the Sun and Leo that we finally transmute our polarities and experience unity consciousness.

Picture1

The cycle of our Hero or Heru continues, as Horus rises on the HORizon as RA-HORachty, the Son or Sun rising as the ascended Osiris.

Osiris is also related to the Djed Pillar, which is his spine and the axis of the earth.  As a vertical symbol, the Djed displays the path to and from the sky and earth, spirit and matter and our own experiencing of heaven and hell.

DJED-Spine-Osiris

In the above picture you can see what is referred to as the Raising of the Djed ceremony which celebrates a restoration of balance and harmony.  The Djed or spine, can also represent the trunk of the Tree of Life.

Osiris embodies the tree, rooted in the earth and reaching for the heavens.  This is the path of the kundalini moving through our glandular ChakRAs , from the root to the crown .  We choose how we want to interact with this reality by where we place our focus.  We vibrate at higher levels when we raise our levels of consciousness and transmute our polarities within.

Tree-of-life

You see, we don’t have to wait for our illusions of a linear cycle of time and space to bring us back to a state of complete Gnosis….we are challenged to raise our levels of awareness in any given moment, which can take us to this precious place in a heartbeat.

What is a Schist? by Suzan Moore

By definition, schist is a medium-grade metamorphic rock with medium to large, flat, sheet-like grains that lie in a preferred parallel orientation. It is defined by having more than 50% platy and elongated minerals. These flat, platy minerals include: micas, chlorite, talc, hornblende, graphite, and others. The names of various schists are derived from their mineral constituents. Most schists are mica schists, but graphite and chlorite schists are also common.

The individual mineral grains in a schist are drawn out into flaky scales by heat and pressure, and can be seen with the naked eye. Schists are characteristically folliated, which means that the individual mineral grains split off easily into flakes or slabs. In fact, the word “schist” is derived from the Greek word σχίζειν schízein meaning “to split”, which is a reference to the ease with which schists can be split along the planes that the platy minerals lie. Therefore, schists tend to break easily and, although considered a very attractive stone, are rarely used as building materials due to their lack of strength.

schistThis brings us to the topic of the “Schist Disk” on display in the Cairo Museum. In the Cairo Museum it is labeled as a Lotus Bowl made out of schist. In addition to the “Schist Disk”, there are several dozen other objects in both the Cairo Museum and Saqqara Museum that are made of a similar substance and have all have been labeled as “schist”.  These objects have numerous similarities. They are all a dull dark grey, exhibiting no visible mica or plates of any kind. They are all structurally very delicate, thin and most importantly, they all have intricately carved fluted edges. In the case of the “Schist Disk” it appears to be carved into three wing like folds.

diskAll of these “schist” objects are behind glass and poorly lit. There is no chance of examining them by touch or with a magnifying glass. So, are they a schist? Considering their delicate nature, I doubt it. If they were a schist I believe they would have broken apart by now. The actual “Schist Disk” is in fairly poor condition and has undergone a lot of reconstruction, while some of the other fluted edge “schist” objects are intact and in good condition.

What is the purpose of these objects? We can only speculate at this point in time. I doubt the “Schist Disk” was merely a flower bowl. But if it was made to rotate in any manor then I think it would have been made of a substance somewhat more durable than a schist.

So what are they made of? Without being able to really examine the objects, no definitive conclusions can be made. I speculate that it is a very hard, competent rock that can withstand millenniums of lying in the desert beneath the sand. Perhaps a dolerite?

We may never know.

Suzan

Suzan Moore – Geologist

Born and raised on the prairies of Saskatchewan Canada, Suzan developed a keen interest in nature, rocks and stars at an early age. That passion later led her to pursue a Geology degree with a minor in Astronomy. Suzan has been working as a Geologist in Canada for over 40 years. She originally worked in both mining and regional mapping of granites and metamorphic rocks in northern Saskatchewan and the North West Territories. She has been working for many years as a Sedimentological Specialist in the Oil and Gas industry in Calgary Alberta, specializing in the Jurassic of Western North American.

She has always had an interest in Ancient Egypt and, since her first visit, returns regularly. After a trip to Peru in 2013 she developed a passion for understanding megalithic structures and the rocks they are carved from which led her to explore their implications in Egypt as well. She is currently trying to incorporate how weathering, time and source of the rocks affect the construction and preservation of many of the megalithic structures.

Suzan offers a unique and fresh perspective on the description, consistency and use of the various types of rocks and materials  used in the ancient structures here.

The Khemit School is excited to announce that Suzan Moore, who has traveled to Egypt, Peru and Bolivia several times with the “Techno-Spiritual ” Team, which also includes Brien Foerster, Stephen Mehler, Mohamed Ibrahim and Yousef & Patricia Awyan, has accepted our invitation to join the team and accompany us on upcoming adventures!

The Techno-Spiritual Team goes to Lebanon and Visits the Ancient Sites of Byblos and Ba’albek by Patricia Awyan

Yousef-byblos

On March 21st, 2015, our group literally ‘hit the ground running’ as we were taken from the airport to the National Museum in Beirut. This lovely and well cared for museum was filled with many fascinating artifacts, a large percentage of which were directly from or influenced by ancient Egypt.Museum-picsIn fact, associations with ancient Egypt quickly became a central theme of our adventure.

Historians will date the onset of civilization in the coastal areas of Lebanon to the time of the Phoenicians, although most sites have layers that have been dated to Neolithic times (8000 – 4000 BC).  The Techno-Spiritual Team is in agreement that the sites of Byblos and Ba’albek have foundations that date back to the pre-cataclysmic times of ancient Khemit, 10,000 -50,000 years ago or more.  Abd’el Hakim Awayn taught that ancient Khemit stretched far beyond Egypt’s modern day borders and encompassed most of the land bordering the Mediterranean, including Lebanon.

Byblos, as a well-known seaport and trading center, exported the precious cedar wood to Egypt and other areas.  Many of the structures and artifacts found at both Byblos and Ba’albek have Egyptian origins that can be officially dated back as far as the second half of the second millennium.  Aswan granite found scattered at both sites, and possibly other kinds of stone, were brought from quarries out of Egypt.

In the museum we were treated to seeing many wonderful items found at the sites, and the noticeable Egyptian influence on all of the cultures that inhabited Lebanon.  I was delighted to see the obvious syncretism in mythologies and symbolism depicted on the different artifacts from these civilizations.

Our first full day in Lebanon began with a visit to the famous Jeita Grotto, one of the “New Seven Wonders of Nature”.  Located north of Beirut, the Jeita Grotto is a system of two separate, but interconnected, karstic limestone caves spanning  an overall length of nearly 9 kilometers (5.6 miles), known to house the world’s largest known stalactite. Many members     of our group remarked at the powerful energy emanating from within the huge system of caverns. We were told that people actually lived in the huge chambers in this dark moist grotto during pre-historic times.

Jeita GrottoAfter a visit to the sacred pilgrimage site of Harissa, and a Gondola ride with an amazing panoramic view of Jounieh Bay, we were off for an afternoon exploration of the seaside site of Byblos.

Sea

The first things we noticed as we were driven to the site were the many granite pillars that were quarried  from a more ancient site to be used to stabilize the walls of many of the later structures.  Close examination of the granite stone convinced us that it was brought from quarries in Upper Egypt.

Byblos-col

The site was littered with artifacts and structures that spoke to many layers of site transformation over thousands of years. The box on the far right, pictured below, was found inside a dark cavern, reminding us of the resonance boxes found in subterranean chambers and pyramids throughout Egypt

Byblos-site

I was fascinated by the amount of artifacts and information pointing to a culture that utilized the elongated crowns that we find depicted on the walls of temples as well as on far more ancient petroglyphs found in Egypt. Was this a recognition of a culture that once revered or actually had elongated skulls?

Elongated-heads

This was of particular interest to Brien who has been studying this phenomenon in Peru, where a large amount of actual elongated skulls have been and are still being found. Many of the ancient skulls in Peru (and other areas in the world) show no signs of possible ‘binding’, known as artificial cranial deformation, which speaks to the fact that a race of beings here on earth did once have this feature, and subsequent cultures revered it enough to attempt to reshape their own heads and those of their babies.

sKULLS-BRIENOf course the moment we all had been waiting for, the highlight of our adventure, was our visit to the megalithic site of Ba’albek, home to a massive area filled with various temples still standing from its Roman occupation.  Ba’albek, also known as Heliopolis, the City of the Sun, is officially dated back to 9000 BC.

Baalbek-davidWe began our visit with a stop at the now famous Pregnant Woman stone (which is estimated to weigh 1,200 tons or more) that still sits in the area where it was being quarried from. There was much discussion about why it was left here in the quarry, very much like the well-known Unfinished Obelisk in the Aswan Quarry in Egypt. Did they discover that the quality of the stone wasn’t up to their standards, or did a cataclysmic event prevent them from continuing? Did humanity devolve into a less evolved state, losing the capability or tools needed to work with these megalithic stones?Pregnant-womanThe giant stone pictured below, from an adjacent quarry, sits at a similar angle and shows evidence that the block itself was being quarried for smaller cuts of stone.  We were told about a network of ancient subterranean tunnels that exist in the area, which we also find in both Egypt and Peru, and, in fact, all over the world.Quarry-picsWe were then taken on a short drive to the site of the ancient Temples of Jupiter, Venus and Bacchus at  Ba’albek.

Baalbek-picsMost date this site to the Roman era; however, there is evidence that clearly confirms an earlier Phoenician presence. As stated above, Khemitology dictates that it was once a part of a far more ancient and larger Khemit, or Egypt.

Our Techno-Spiritual Team could easily spot the megalithic stone foundation and found much evidence of advanced technologies similar to those found in levels of pre-cataclysmic constructions in Egypt, Peru and Bolivia, strewn throughout the ruins of the site.

Mega-blocksTheories abound about how these blocks (some of which weigh up to 1,500 tons) were placed here, many of them attributing these foundation blocks to ancient aliens. Our team agrees that a highly advanced civilization of human beings with a much deeper recognition of our connection to nature were able to orchestrate what we might call miraculous feats, most likely by utilizing implosive technologies that are resonant with our natural environment

Machining (2)We explored the areas around the famous Temples of Baal-Jupiter (Phoenician/Roman labeling) and Bacchus known to be sacred areas for ritual and ceremony.  Below the Roman constructions, at the center of this area was once a huge temple dedicated to Baal, a God or Neter, representing an aspect of the sun, and his consort, Astarte (the heavens).Baalbek-11The city was known to be a pilgrimage site throughout many civilizations until the dawning of Christianity.

Ba’albek is located in an area with a prolific agricultural bounty, known to be the most fertile valley in Lebanon. Was there an energy emanating from the earth here that made it an ideal location to build the original megalithic structures?swastika-baalbekI was especially happy to see the wealth of recognizable symbolic elements found throughout the site. The patterns, designs and symbolism spoke to a lineage of knowledge that migrated through the different cultures that inhabited this area, holding true to an original theme reflecting the Neters or natures, and the sacred geometric patterns that combine to reveal the nature of our eternal and cyclical reality.Tefnut-picsAbove you can see the images of the Khemtian Neter, Tefnut, the spit of Nut, the Sky that I spotted at Ba’albek. She is associated with mist, rain and water and we find her image at temples, fountains and drainage systems all over the world.

We also found this interesting basin that reminded us of the shape of the Hotep-Ra at Abu Ghurob in Egypt. The circular lid to the alabaster platform at Abu Gurob covers a shaft that leads to a subterranean source of running water, according to Hakim.  Is there a significance to this shape and a connection with water?

Baalbek-ms We were so excited by everything we discovered here, that we overstayed our scheduled       visit and made a promise to ourselves to come back and spend the night in Ba’albek,as well as another day exploring and enjoying the powerful energy found within and around the massive structures at this magnificent site

This has just been an inkling of what we stumbled upon throughout our explorations of these sites, that inspired many in-depth discussions about ancient worldwide connections that point to an advanced pre-cataclysmic civilization that left a legacy of wisdom and knowledge within the remains of the ancient structures and symbolism they left behind.byblos-syPlease check out the 4-Part Video Series that Brien Foerster has presented on his YouTube Channel:

Journey of Discovery led by Brien Foerster – Evidence of a highly advanced Pre-Incan civilization at sites in Peru and Bolivia! by Patricia Awyan

Yousef and I were extremely grateful to be invited to join Brien Forester, and his fabulous wife, Irene, on his September 2014 “Techno-Spiritual Tour” of ancient sites in Peru and Bolivia, along with Stephen Mehler and an insightful group of like-minded individuals!

10354954_10152271286955807_6090516932283696407_n

After witnessing Brien’s enthusiasm—and his lectures about these ancient “Incan” sites during our tours together here in Egypt these past two years, we were excited at the prospect of viewing and experiencing them for ourselves.  We were not disappointed!

We explored the remnants of a vast Incan Empire that originated in the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries C.E. and stretched for more than 2,000 miles from Ecuador to Chile at the time of the Spanish arrival in 1515. However, even more exciting was the evidence of a far more ancient and advanced civilization that the Inca seemed to have held in high esteem and built their structures on top of and/or within the far more ancient megalithic structures.  We saw much to indicate that the Incan civilization sprang up after a huge cataclysm and inherited these sites—similar to how early dynastic and pre-dynastic Egyptians inherited the legacy of a far more ancient Khemit? Catastro

After flying into Lima, Peru, we met with the group and spent our first day visiting two museums.  As a researcher of ancient symbolism worldwide, I was immediately struck by the similarities with other cultures, including ancient Khemit.Scribes-4

The artifacts in these museums spoke to me of a reverence for our eternal cycles, as well as a deep understanding of our natural world and cosmic forces.  The many feline images, as well as serpents and birds held an almost eerie syncretism with the symbolism we experience in Egypt—and many other ancient cultures worldwide.

museum

Throughout our journeying together at sites in and around Cusco, Sachsayhuaman , the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu in Peru, and at Puma Punku and Tiahuanaco in Bolivia, I was delighted to discover the many site references to stellar and solar patterns and cycles as well as symbolic references to how these patterns are reflected within us! Through a shared very ancient heritage or similar advanced knowledge and wisdom- indigenous cultures worldwide seem to be referencing an energetic reality that our modern day scientists are just now beginning to discover.

The image on the left in the picture below (taken at the Larco Museum, in Lima, Peru) is an almost mirror reflection of the ancient Egyptian Neter, Amun, who represents the stage of the sun at night, when it is ‘hidden’ from our view.

Amun

Dynastic Egyptian and Incan ‘religious‘ icons are reflective of forces of nature, and of solar and stellar cycles. Their architecture was also designed and built to recognize the position and cycles of the Sun, Moon and stars.  Both civilizations erected monuments which referenced the position of the Sun at the solstices, and marked them with great festivals.

As Above, so below—echoed on multiple levels …    Egyptians celebrated the birth of the Sun/Son ,  as the Neter,  Horus,  during the Winter Solstice, the time when the days start to become longer again after shrinking to the shortest day of sunlight during the year.  However in the Southern Hemisphere this moment  occurs during the northern hemisphere’s Summer Solstice— currently on June 21st – and was known as Inti Ramyi—the birth of the Sun God, Inti.   Untitled-2

The ancient Egyptians likened the flow of water to the energetic wave patterns of all living entities that exist in our three dimensional reality. This same idea of energy being related to the flow of water flow is reflected in the Inca’s fascination with the Milky Way. The entire Sacred Valley of the Vilcanota River near Cusco, was considered a mirror of the Milky Way in the very same way that the Egyptians viewed their Nile River Valley.

I discovered that the Inca, located below the Equator, focused much of their attention on the dark spaces or rifts between the stars of the constellations in the Milky Way, in direct opposition to how ancient cultures north of equator, including Egyptians, focused on the constellations themselves to describe universal cycles and creation.  Many of their stories and mythologies speak to the same cycling of ages and how the cycles of the stars affect the ‘seeding’ and fertility of the agriculture—and life on earth.

Portal

What’s even more fascinating is that Egypt, Peru and Bolivia all show stark and prolific evidence that a far more ancient and very advanced civilization inhabited earth thousands of years earlier than we’ve been taught.  These megalithic structures built with bio-organic elements are impregnated with a wealth of knowledge and wisdom just waiting to be tapped.

“ A tradition which has been credited by many learned men over the centuries is that the Ancients encoded their knowledge of the world in the dimensions of their sacred monuments.”  – John Michell

PP SACHS

Another similarity with the sites in Egypt was the creative employment of running water throughout all of the sites. The sophisticated channeling and use of running water was evident everywhere and probably had multi-level significance.  The channeled waterworks at Tipon in Peru were amazing, and reminded me of the Red and White Springs in Glastonbury that originate from the Tor.  The water channels and fountains at Tipon once depended on two water sources.  One source, surface water from melting glaciers, has recently dried up due to changes in climate, however,  the other source, a series of deep underground springs from the sacred mountain known as Pachatusan, are still flowing today.

Some of us couldn’t help but drink the fresh and sparkling water flowing from the series of channels that you can see in the picture on the far right below.  The series of waterways begins with one channel that is then divided into two, and then four — only to be drawn back into two and then one again with complete precision, emulating the holographic ‘breath of life’. What is really being achieved here and why?

Water

Below are pictures of ‘sound niches’ in structures at Coricancha in Cusco, and Ollantaytambo along with inserts of a sound niche and image of the ‘hospital’ at Saqqara in Egypt.  The use of sound frequency in healing practices at the very ancient ‘hospital’ at Saqqara, has long been known about thanks to the legacy of work of Abd’el Hakim Awyan, and Yousef, Stephen and I readily recognized additional features, built for sound and frequency enhancement in Peru.  I was particularly delighted to witness this explanation being given and displayed by what seemed to be a ‘mainstream’ tour guide to a small group of travelers –while I was exploring the site of Ollantaytambo.  The resonance achieved when sampling these niches myself was fantastic!

niches

We also viewed many areas of ancient earthworks – hills and mountains that were intentionally terraced for what many believe were for agricultural purposes.  Moray is an archaeological site near Cusco, Peru consisting of several huge terraced circular depressions, the largest of which is about 30 meters (98 ft.) deep, as well as an irrigation system. The purpose of these depressions is uncertain, but their depth, design, and orientation with respect to wind and sun create a temperature difference of as much as 15 °C (27 °F) between the top and the bottom.  Some believe that the Incas created the site to study the effects of sun and temperature on crops.

We couldn’t help but recognize that the shape and stepped design could have been used for harmonic acoustics.  When Yousef played his flute at the bottom of the site, it could be heard clearly at the top.  Was sound frequency also an element in the enhancement of their agricultural processes…or was the site used for some alternative purpose altogether?

I couldn’t help but notice the unique design on this bowl in the picture below, that I spotted at the National Museum of Archaeology, Anthropology and History in Lima.  It seemed strangely similar to the patterns of the earthworks at Moray.

MORay-Lima-Bowl

We had heard Brien speak about the knobs found on the megalithic structures in Peru when comparing them to those found on the Giza Plateau in Egypt, so it was a treat for us to see them for ourselves and speculate on their purpose.   The general agreement was that they might have been used for some sort of frequency or sound regulation.

KNOBS PERU

I can’t speak of touring with Brien without mentioning elongated skulls!  Brien has brought the truth of this ancient phenomenon to light—for me and many others.  Yousef and I have since discovered the little known fact that there have been many such skulls found at pre-dynastic sites in both Upper and Lower Egypt. Brien is leading the way for much more in depth research and attention to be given to where, why, who and when this ancient race of what I believe were humans…once walked the earth.

Huayqui-skeleton-1

I can only begin to express all of the remarkable and mind boggling things we viewed and experienced on this adventure with Brien and Irene in this short article. It was absolutely magical!   It was not only a feast for the mind….but, absolute sustenance for the body and soul as well.  Oh yes, we were physically challenged and benefited from the exercise of climbing up and down the sharp inclines that these sites, nestled in the Andes Mountains, offered us.   Yet we could also find the time to feel and ‘breathe in’ the powerful energies emanating from the structures and the earth itself in both Peru and Bolivia. I loved every part of this well planned adventure!  I am completely enchanted with the people and sites in Peru—and felt a profound connection with everything I encountered in Bolivia.  I can hardly wait to return with an entirely different series of questions and intentions!

AKHENATEN…MYTH AND MYSTERY by Stephen Mehler

Picture_103

Stephen & Hakim,                                      Cairo Museum

When he was first born he was given the same title as his father: Amenhotep.  Amen being one of the main Neters—the fifth stage of the Sun—was known as “The Hidden” and was the main Neter—the “State God”—in this time period, ca. 1350 BCE.  Amenhotep has been translated many ways; “Amen is Pleased,” “Amen is Satisfied,” “Amen is Completed,” or “The Sacrifice to Amen.”  But at a young age, this man rebelled against what he perceived to be a corrupt priesthood and bloated religion of Amen, and changed his title to “Akhenaten”—which has also been translated many ways: “The Child of the Aten,” “The Spirit of The Aten,” “The Son of the Sun,” or –according to Abd’El Hakim Awyan, the founder of Khemitology—“The Shadow of The Wiser.”

More has been written about this individual in the last 150 years than any other person in ancient Egyptian history.  So much that has been written about him has become pure myth and devoid of historical reality—and much can be classified as “mystery” with no apparent actual answers.  Did he invent the Aten “religion?”  Did he “invent” Monotheism—the belief in a sole God?  Was he an alien from Sirius?  Was he human?  Did he and Nefertiti and their children have elongated skulls?  Many books and articles have been written in the last thirty years addressing these questions but few have provided any serious scientific evidence to fully support any of these contentions.

I have studied and researched the life and times of Akhenaten for over 46 years and addressed these questions myself in several chapters I wrote about him.  I also discussed his possible connections to Judaism, the Rosicrucian Order, and all modern metaphysical traditions in my second book, From Light into Darkness: The Evolution of Religion In Ancient Egypt (Adventures Unlimited Press) published in 2005.  Hakim and I spent many hours in detailed discussion about Akhenaten and his times, and influences—and much of Hakim’s wisdom and traditions on the subject were included in the book.  Akhenaten is both venerated in the Rosicrucian tradition and by the oral wisdom keepers of Egypt that Hakim was a major proponent of.

The Khemit School Of Ancient Mysticism—founded by Yousef and Patricia Awyan—is hosting a tour in March 2015 that will take guests to the ruins of the city of Akhetaten—the city that Akhenaten built ca. 1340 BCE.  These sites today are known as Tell el Amarna, Tunal el Gebel and Ashmonein.  We will have many discussions—both onsite and in group meetings—of all the myths and mysteries surrounding Akhenaten and his times.

Egyptian Hieroglyphs written during Ancient times–in Australia? Absolutely!

The Khemit School Team has visited, documented and completed an in depth study of the now famous “Gosford Glyphs” located near Kariong, about 60 km north of Sydney, Australia

Last February, Beatrice Awyan and I embarked on a journey of discovery to both New Zealand and Australia as I was invited to present a series of lectures in Auckland, NZ and Melbourne, AU.    After we announced our journey, we were delighted to receive invitations from Sonya van Gelder and Steve & Evan Strong, to visit the Gosford Glyph site with them to view what many believe to be very ancient Egyptian Hieroglyphs carved on 2 very large sandstone rocks in a remote area in the forest.

Reports of these enigmatic glyphs date back to the early 1900’s, and there has been much controversy about whether they were placed there as a hoax,—or that they were in fact, carved by one or more Egyptians in ancient times.

The Khemit School team was so excited by the prospect of our visit, that we began to study the pictures of the Glyphs (that had been sent to us by Sonya at an earlier date) in order to create a video of their findings—so that Beatrice and I would have something to offer as a gift, in return for this generous invitation.

It was not long before they were both bustling with enthusiasm over what they were discovering!  Not only did they believe that they were authentic….but, they could begin to understand the story that the glyphs were telling us.  We all knew that a much more thorough and in-depth examination would be necessary- but, we went ahead and filmed a short video of their findings to present to our hosts.

After spending many wonderful moments with both old and new friends in New Zealand and Melbourne, as well as being introduced to much evidence that points toward the possibility of a very ancient connection of Egypt with both New Zealand and Australia—we were ready to explore the site at Gosford.

Beatrice and I were honored to learn that we would be meeting respected Original Elder and custodian of the women’s’ lore of the area, Auntie Beve.  (I am sad to report that Auntie Beve passed shortly after we left, in April.  Her vibrant spirit touched me deeply, and I know that memories of her inspiring legacy of service and achievements will live on in the hearts of many.)

We were also honored to be accompanied by Stella Wheildon, who has been entrusted with the gift of the wisdom of the Ngarakwal traditional lore, given to her by Mrs Marlene Boyd,  a direct ‘bloodline to country’ descendant of the Seven Sisters Starlore – the ancient matrilineal culture of traditions, lore and customs of the Bird Tribes of Australia.

Although Steve Strong was unable to join us, we were happy to meet Evan and have him share some of the work that he and his father had been doing for many years.   In fact, we were grateful to be introduced to many fascinating people that day,  all coming together in the interest  of protecting this site—and honoring its historical and multi-level significance.

As we were led down the path through the forested area,  we soon discovered that there was much more to this site than a few rocks with Egyptian hieroglyphs on them.  They are encased in a natural paradise, known to be a sacred area, as a meeting place (in separate locations) for both men and women.  I was especially enchanted by the Grandmother Tree, a huge leaning angophora tree which has stood tall for hundreds of years, just a few steps from the sandstone rocks blanketed with ancient inscriptions.

As I came around the corner to view the carved script for the first time, I was surprised at my own reaction.  They seemed to be alive, and to speak to me from the distant past.  I could almost feel the energy of the writers – and based on what I already knew of story they were telling, began to understand their plight.

The sandstone rocks were huge, creating a tall corridor that we were told, once had a roof covering it.  We were guided around the surrounding area and saw many more items of interest, including a shaft that seemed to go deeply inside an area underneath one of the sandstone boulders, as well as more hieroglyphic inscriptions!

Beatrice and I were blessed to have experienced many powerful moments that afternoon, as we explored the sacred area before gathering again that evening where we were able to present our film of the Khemit School’s quick interpretation of the Glyphs.

We were elated to witness Auntie Beve’s reaction, who told us that the interpretation the Khemit School shared, matched the information handed down to her by the ancestors.   She spoke to us of how hard she was working to save this and other sacred areas of Australia’s Original people–from destruction, vandalism or sale by the government.
