September 14th Friday Day 01 Arrival Cairo
Arrival Welcome Dinner and Introductory Meeting. Overnight, Mena House Hotel, Giza (D)
September 15th Saturday Day 02 Grand Egyptian Museum (if Open) Visit the New Grand Egyptian Museum if open—if not the Cairo museum. Perfumery and Lecture. Overnight, Mena House Hotel, Giza (B,L)
September 16th Sunday Day 03 Drive to Minya, the Newly opened Aten Museum and Beni Hassan After an early breakfast we’ll leave in our air-conditioned motor coach for Minya and visit Beni Hassan, then check into The Grand Aton on the powerful Nile River and have lunch. Afterwards we’ll visit the Aten Museum and Visitor’s Center featuring artifacts of the time of Akhenaten. We’ll enjoy a buffet dinner at the Hotel and meet for a Lecture presented by Stephen Mehler. September 17th Monday Day 04 Amarna and Tuna el Gebel This morning we’ll visit the site where Akhenaten’s ancient palace stood at Amarna. After lunch, we’ll drive to Tuna el Gebel and visit the temple of Thoth, the necropolis of el-Ashmunein and the tomb chapel of Petosiris. Next we’ll drive to Abydos and check into our rooms at the Flower of Life Hotel. Overnight Flower of Life Hotel, Abydos (B,L,D)
September 18th Tuesday Day 05 Abydos and Temple of Seti I and Osireon After Breakfast, we’ll visit the Seti I Temple and the Osirieon. We’ll have lunch in the village before driving to Luxor to check into our rooms at the Maritim Jolie Ville Hotel. We’ll enjoy a buffet dinner together and enjoy a free evening. September 19th Wednesday Day 06 Temple of Hathor at Dendera
After breakfast we drive to Dendera & visit the Hathor temple and then drive to Luxor. Overnight Maritim Jolie Ville, Luxor (B,L)
September 20th Thursday Day 07 West Bank Valley of the Kings, the Rameseum & Colossi of Memnon & Evening visit to Luxor Temple. Visit Valley of the Kings, the Rameseum & Memnon Colossi and Board our Cruise ship. This evening we’ll visit the Temple of Luxor, by the Nile. 5-Star Alyssa Nile Cruise (B,L,D)
September 21st Friday Day 08 Karnak Temple & Nile Cruise

September 23rd Sunday Day 10 Aswan Quarry and Temple of Isis After lunch, we’ll visit the Unfinished Obelisk at the Aswan Quarry and then take a motorboat to the enchanting Island of Philae, and the powerful Temple of Isis. Alyssa Nile Cruise (B,L,D)
September 24th Monday, Day 11 Elephantine Island and Fly to Cairo Visit Elephantine Island Fly to Cairo, Overnight Mena House Hotel, Giza (B,L)
September 25th Tuesday Day 12 Bent & Red Pyramids at Dashur, Hospital, Step Pyramid & Serapeum at Saqqara Visit Dashur followed by Lunch at the Palm Club. Afterwards, we’ll the Hospital and Step Pyramid and visit inside the Serapeum. Overnight Mena House Hotel, Giza (B,L) September 26th Wednesday, Day 13 Private Visit to the Sphinx & inside the Great Pyramid Early morning Private entry into the Great Pyramid, optional Camel Ride and visit to the Valley Temple, with Private Entry between the Paws of the Sphinx.
