Day 03 –  October 3rd,   Sunday   Unas and Step Pyramid Entries, the Sound Healing Hospital & Serapeum at Saqqara.
First, we’ll visit and enter the newly opened Unas, or ‘Wenis’ Pyramid where we will find the earliest Egyptian funerary texts, known as the Pyramid Texts.  Gaston Maspero created the concept that these beautifully crafted texts consisted of magic spells intended to assist with the pharaoh’s journey through the Duat and into the afterlife.  Today we will discuss many alchemical secrets about the nature of our reality within them.
Next, will enter the Step Pyramid, newly opened to the public. Under the Step Pyramid is a labyrinth of tunneled chambers and galleries that are said to be 3.5 miles long which connect to a central shaft that is about 7 meters square and 28 meters deep. The entrance to this shaft was built on the north side of the pyramid. The sides of the underground passages are limestone inlaid with blue faience tile to replicate reed matting. These “palace façade” walls are further decorated by panels decorated in low relief that show the king participating in the mysterious Heb Sed festival.
The Sound Healing Hospital and the Mirror
We will visit the Sound Healing Hospital to experience the still active healing frequencies of this ancient site and discuss the many references to the importance of balancing the polarized energies within and without. You will also be able to try your hand at using these energies to create change within your life. What does Imhotep represent – and how can we become architects of the patterns of energy?

The ancients understood that healing is more than just curing symptoms. It requires an interactive process wherein the patient must also discover where they are “out of Maat” or balance. Patricia will guide you through the Mirror, a device created with this purpose in mind, offering you an opportunity to experience your own reflection.
The SerapeumAnother highlight of our day will be a visit to the newly opened Serapeum, a huge subterranean complex. A long hallway that runs in east/west directions, flanked by chambers that house gigantic, highly crystalline stone boxes. Many believe that Bulls associated with the Apis Bull cult were buried in them. However, no bulls or human bodies were found in any of these huge boxes which were made with an extremely advanced technology. When excavated in 1852, all twenty-four boxes, weighing 60-80 tons, had been plundered. Their lids had been pried loose and the contents taken. Our collective research shows that these boxes are far more ancient than the writings found on and around them. We’ll discuss the many theories of what they were used for. You truly need to view all the elements for yourself to fathom how it may have functioned.
Overnight, Marriott Mena House, Giza (B,L)

Day 04 –  October 4th,  Monday Grand Egyptian Museum (if open) or Cairo Museum and Flight to Luxor

We will board the bus after our buffet breakfast for our visit to explore the treasures of either the new Grand Egyptian Museum (if open) or the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. Here we will see many amazing artifacts collected from sites all over Egypt, including the gold sarcophagus & jewelry on display at the King Tut Exhibit. Amongst the many artifacts that we will point out that show evidence of an ancient superior technology, is the ‘Schist Disk’, made famous by Hakim’s observation that it was a bio-organic sound device. After exploring the wonders at the Museum we’ll have lunch at the Pyramids Restaurant in Nazlet Semman, before leaving for the Cairo airport for our flight to Luxor. After lunch, we’ll fly to Luxor and check into the truly fabulous Steigenberger Nile Palace Hotel situated on the east bank of the Nile River.Overnight Steigenberger Nile Palace Hotel, Luxor (B,L)

Day 05 – October 5th,   Tuesday   Temple of Hathor at Dendera and Lecture

After our buffet breakfast, we’ll drive to Dendera to visit the incredible Temple of Hathor. Star maps depicted on the ceilings in this temple, and the replica of famous Dendera Zodiac (the original is displayed at the Louvre in Paris) point to the ancient origins of astrology and superior knowledge of our universe. Hathor (Het-Hert), the Netert who personified motherhood, beauty, sexuality, love, joy, harmony, dance and music was often associated with the planet, Venus. She was known as the Lady of the Stars, and represented the nurturing solar food of the Sun’s rays, required for birth, growth and renewal.
Patricia will illustrate how the temple represents the Womb of Hathor and embodies principles that reveal universal mysteries and discuss the secrets that lie hidden within the symbolism of the famous Dendera Zodiac.Next, we’ll return to Luxor for a late lunch.   This evening Patricia will present a Lecture on Egyptian Mysticism.
Overnight Steigenberger Nile Palace Hotel, Luxor (B,L)

Day 06 –  October 6th,  Wednesday  Abydos and Temple of Seti I and Osireion (Special Permission)

As we wonder through these sacred halls, we’ll discuss the symbolism of the masterfully crafted depictions that cover the walls of this temple that is dedicated to Osiris.
PRIVATE VISIT INTO THE OSIREION
Behind this Temple lies the megalithic Osireion, similar to the Valley Temple in Giza, that the indigenous tell us could 35,000-50,000 years old or older. Here you’ll find the red ochre depictions of the ‘flower of life’, the first known version of The Book of Caverns as well as the Book of Gates within an entry corridor. We’ll have our lunch at the House of Life in Abydos, and return to hotel in Luxor.

Day 07 – October 7th,  Thursday  Nefertari’s Tomb, Hatshepsut’s Temple & Colossi of Memnon & Evening visit to Luxor Temple at sunset.

After Breakfast, we’ll drive to the West Bank and visit the spectacular tomb of Nefertari.
Nefertari’s tomb, or ‘house of eternity’, is known to contain the best preserved and most eloquent paintings of any Egyptian burial site. By contemporary standards, the real value of the paintings found within the tomb is that they are most detailed source of the ancient Egyptian’s journey towards the afterlife. Nefertari, whose name is said to mean: ‘the most beautiful’, was one of several Queens of Rameses II.
Next, we’re off to the mystical Hatshepsut’s Temple, a beautiful architecture wonder, engineered by Senemut (believed by some to be her lover), which is nestled in the valley basin of Deir el-Bahari, surrounded by steep cliffs.  We’ll have lunch after a stop at the impressive Colossi of Memnon.
Later in the afternoon we’ll have time for shopping before visiting the temple of Luxor in the evening. We will explore the mysteries of the enigmatic Luxor Temple in the early evening.  Linked to Karnak Temple by the Avenue of Sphinxes, Luxor Temple utilizes similar patterns of sacred geometry in its design. After 15 years of intense study, Alchemist R. A. Schwaller de Lubicz called Luxor Temple “The Temple of Man” in a book in which he explored the esoteric depth of ancient Egyptian philosophy, spirituality, mathematics, and science. Schwaller’s theory that the Luxor Temple was designed to replicate all aspects of Man (body, mind and spirit), is well documented and has gained support from many researchers.

Day 08 – October 8th,  Friday Karnak Temple (Optional Hot Air Balloon) and Lecture

You will have the opportunity to enjoy an optional early morning Hot Air Balloon ride over the West Bank. After breakfast we will depart to explore the incredible Temple of Karnak, the world’s largest temple. One can never have enough time to fully explore all the riches of Karnak, where we will spend the entire morning. An avenue of ram-headed sphinxes leads us into the gigantic complex, which includes temples dedicated to Amun, a Neter representing an aspect or stage of the Sun, and Khonsu, who represents the Moon.In the open-air museum, we will have time to enter the chapel of Amenhotep I, which is entirely made of white calcite and has amazing resonance. Next, we’re off to the powerful Chapel of Sekhmet.
Sekhmet personifies the solar rays that provide the electromagnetic energy required to sustain life and the earth’s grid. As the lioness, she symbolizes the powerful and fierce, yet protective love, akin to that of any mother. Sekhem, means “power” and Sekhmet is the magnetic spark that provides the necessary ‘energy to perform what we have been told are mystical, magical and powerful feats, including the healing of the physical body. She is the Life Force. Be prepared to experience a morning you will never forget.
We’ll continue our exploration of Karnak and move on to the Holy of Holies and sacred Lake.   The powerful sacred geometric design and natural elements of the architecture itself has the ability to transform and raise levels of awareness and consciousness as you walk through this and other structures all over the world, designed to harness the natural magnetic current emanating from the earth at these powerful sites.
This evening, Geologist Suzan Moore will present a lecture.

You will also have the opportunity to view depictions of various medical instruments and alchemical healing practices.

The annual rising of Sirius was synonymous with the flooding of the River Nile, which left huge deposits of silt, the very valuable black earth or “KMT” (Khemit) for which Egypt was named. She is usually depicted wearing the throne, or “seat of power”, reflecting the matriarchal nature of the very ancient civilization. After sharing some of the highlights of this site together, you will have time to explore its captivating wonders on your own. We’ll have lunch at Solaih Nubian Restaurant on Bigeh Island directly across from the temple of Isis.  Afterwards, we’ll drive to the airport for our flight back to Cairo and check into our rooms at the Marriott Mena House.

There are ruins of a number of temples, including the chief temple dedicated to Amun, and a very important royal necropolis of the Third Intermediate Period. More than 90% of this huge site still lies beneath the sands, making it appear to be as large or larger than Karnak temple in Upper Egypt.  We’ll drive back to Cairo and enjoy a free evening.

First you will enter and explore the 3 chambers of the Red Pyramid said to have been built by Senefru.  This pyramid used to be cased with white Tura limestone, but only a few of these stones now remain at the pyramid’s base.  The sound resonance within the first two chambers is incredible.
Next, you will move on to the newly opened Bent Pyramid, a unique example of early pyramid development.  Not for the faint of heart, entering this pyramid, also said to have been built by Senefru, is an adventure.
“The Bent Pyramid has two entrances, one fairly low down on the north side, to which a substantial wooden stairway has been built for the convenience of tourists. The second entrance is high on the west face of the pyramid. Each entrance leads to a chamber with a high, corbelled roof; the northern entrance leads to a chamber that is below ground level, the western to a chamber built in the body of the pyramid itself. A hole in the roof of the northern chamber (accessed today by a high and rickety ladder 15 m (50 ft) long) leads via a rough connecting passage to the passage from the western entrance. The western entrance passage is blocked by two stone blocks which were not lowered vertically, as in other pyramids, but slid down 45° ramps to block the passage. One of these was lowered in antiquity and a hole has been cut through it, the other remains propped up by a piece of ancient cedar wood. The connecting passage referenced above enters the passage between the two portcullises.”  (Wikipedia)

Patricia Awyan

Horus Rising Director, KSAM Co- Director, Speaker, Researcher, Explorer, Symbologist, Spiritual & Intuitive Life Counsellor and Artist

As a long-time student in metaphysical, spiritual and indigenous traditions, Patricia’s eclectic spiritual background serves as a strong foundation to support her work. Patricia began her exploration of the nature of this reality from early childhood. Her lifelong passion to know why and how we exist led her to the in-depth study of the esoteric sciences as well as the physical sciences, mathematics, comparative religions, ancient literature, mythology, art history and symbolism.

Having worked as an Architectural Artist for 12 years, she learned much about the energetic nature of structure, color theory and how we experience the world around us through our visual sense. She further explored the principles of color and digital technology, when she worked as a Color Specialist and Senior Account Manager marketing digital copiers, printers and software for 15 years.
All of this was an incredible preparation for the level of research that she is currently undertaking in Egypt. The Neteru, Mythology and Symbolism of ancient Khemit (Egypt) all combine to give us a brilliant vision and understanding of the nature of our reality, and how we eternally cycle through dimensions and stages of consciousness. They have given us an alchemical map for how we can work with these natural and archetypal energies and patterns – in order to traverse these dimensional portals in any NOW moment.

She became of student of the work of the Egyptian indigenous wisdom keeper, Abd’el Hakim Awyan, on her first trip to Egypt in 2005. Patricia has now lived in Egypt for more than 13 years and devotes much of her time to the research of ancient symbolism and mythologies worldwide. She has traveled to ancient sites globally, researching clues that support the concept of a very advanced civilization, both technologically and spiritually, that once spanned the globe thousands of years ago and left a legacy of knowledge and wisdom for us to decipher.

Suzan Moore   Geologist

Born and raised on the prairies of Saskatchewan Canada, Suzan developed a keen interest in nature, rocks and stars at an early age. That passion later led her to pursue a Geology degree with a minor in Astronomy. Suzan has been working as a Geologist in Canada for over 40 years. She originally worked in both mining and regional mapping of granites and metamorphic rocks in northern Saskatchewan and the North West Territories. She has been working for many years as a Sedimentological Specialist in the Oil and Gas industry in Calgary Alberta, specializing in the Jurassic of North-Western America.
She has always had an interest in Ancient Egypt and, since her first visit, returns regularly. After a trip to Peru in 2013 she developed a passion for understanding megalithic structures and the rocks they are carved from which led her to explore their implications in Egypt as well. She is currently trying to incorporate how weathering, time and source of the rocks affect the construction and preservation of many of the megalithic structures.
Suzan has been exploring these and much more on her travels with Patricia to sites in India, Great Britain, and Cambodia, as well as Peru, Bolivia and Egypt.
Suzan offers a unique and fresh perspective on the description, consistency and use of the various types of rocks and materials used in the ancient structures here.
